Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Hospice is seeking a compassionate PRN Weekend RN to provide skilled, patient-centered end-of-life care across the Salt Lake City area. This role offers flexible weekend hours and autonomy in delivering comfort and support.

You’ll complete visits, assess conditions, educate families, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Experience in hospice or home health is preferred, and strong communication and critical thinking

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Utah.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Comfortable using electronic documentation and email.

Responsibilities

• Perform hospice nursing visits and patient assessments.
• Provide skilled, comfort-focused care and monitor changes in condition.
• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers.
