Job summary

ECE Subhub is hiring Early Childhood Substitute Teachers to support classrooms serving children from birth to age 5. We tailor weekday schedules to your availability, with shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm.

You will assist with activities, help implement lesson plans, supervise children, and build warm relationships with staff. Benefits include weekends off, PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage for those working four or more days, and ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children from birth through age 5.
• Associates degree or 18 college credits in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Human Services, Youth or Family Studies, or Elementary Education.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Family or Youth Studies, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education with ZA or ZS endorsement, Human Services, or Child Development.
• Current CDA credential.
• Preferred CPR Adult and Pediatric Certification; training provided if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Assist with classroom activities and daily routines.
• Help implement lesson plans.
• Supervise children to keep them safe.
• Build positive relationships with children and staff.
• Maintain a warm and professional classroom presence.
