Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Flex - unarmed at Glendale, CA to protect client sites across healthcare, education, and more. This role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to gain diverse site experience.

The ideal candidate is reliable, with a high school diploma or equivalent, able to communicate clearly, and willing to work irregular shifts. Training and benefits are provided by Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Background check and drug screen required by law/ policy.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• No prior security experience required.
• Ability to operate radio/console and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department when needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal of items.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities.
