Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. seeks a Truancy School Liaison to provide intensive, individualized truancy support in home, school, and community settings. You will work with students identified by districts and families to implement effective interventions that help youth succeed in school.

The role requires travel across the county, flexible hours up to 40 hours per week, and strong communication with families and schools. Bilingual Spanish candidates are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of provisional behavioral health services experience preferred.
• Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout county for school visits and transport of participants.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Bi-Lingual/Spanish Speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide intensive, individualized truancy services in home, school, and community.
• Support youths identified by school districts and families.
• Implement clinical interventions to help youths function and thrive in educational settings.
