Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our internal travel team in Iowa. You’ll administer medications, monitor resident conditions, supervise CNAs and other nursing staff, and coordinate with physicians and families.

Pick up shifts near home or travel across Iowa with flexible, self-directed scheduling. A current Iowa RN license and CPR are required, plus reliable transportation and the ability to adapt to different facility environments.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Iowa RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different facility environments.

Responsibilities

• Administering medications and treatments
• Monitoring and documenting changes in resident condition
• Supervising CNAs, CMAs/QMAs, and other assigned nursing staff
• Communicating with physicians, families, and facility leadership
• Supporting admissions, transfers, wound care, and emergency response
• Ensuring care is delivered safely and according to resident care plans
