Job summary

A local towing service is seeking a friendly and motivated individual for a flexible rotating schedule position. Responsibilities include responding to vehicle breakdowns, interacting with customers, and towing vehicles to authorized locations. Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Must have or pass a DOT.
• Ability to ensure compliance with DPU requirements through additional training.

Responsibilities

• Receive communications from the company dispatcher.
• Drive to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
• Interact with the customer to identify the nature of the problem.
• Perform jump-starts, tire changes, and unlock vehicles.
• Suggest a course of action.
• Connect the damaged vehicle to the truck.
• Tow the vehicle to an authorized service station or junkyard.
• Report to base and complete paperwork.
