Responsibilities

• Dress neatly and appropriately.
• Reports to the principal 15 minutes before the official school opening.
• Reviews with the principal or designee all plans and schedules to be followed during the teaching day.
• Oversees pupil behavior in class, lunch, and recess.
• Teaches the lessons outlined in the Substitute Teacher's Guide as prepared by the absent teacher.
• Assists the school district to provide a safe, nurturing environment for students.
