Job summary

Catapult Learning seeks a Substitute Teacher in Clark County, NV to ensure instructional continuity when regular staff are absent.

You will deliver instruction from provided lesson plans, maintain routines, support students individually or in small groups, and communicate with school staff.

This flexible role offers scheduling options—year-round and/or during summer, full-time or part-time—with a supportive team and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experiencing working with grades levels K-12.
• Experiencing teaching reading and math.
• NV substitute/teaching license preferred.
• Experience teaching or supporting instruction in a classroom setting (preferred).
• Ability to quickly adapt to new classroom environments and routines.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Basic proficiency with technology platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction based on existing lesson plans or guided materials provided by Catapult Learning or school staff.
• Maintain established classroom routines, procedures, and expectations.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for learning.
• Provide instructional support to students individually or in small groups.
• Track and report attendance, behavior, and instructional feedback as directed.
• Communicate with school personnel and Catapult Learning staff regarding student needs or classroom updates.
• Follow school and program guidelines to ensure learning continuity.
• Other duties as assigned.
