Job summary
ESS is seeking substitute teachers for the Clearfield School District in Clearfield, PA. A Bachelor's Degree is required, along with PA teacher certification or Act 86-qualified education majors. Candidates must complete PA Clearances (Form 6004, Act 24; Act 34; Act 114; Act 126; Act 151; Act 168).
As ESS substitutes, you follow lesson plans, aid students, and ensure regular routines are followed. We provide training, flexible schedules, and professional development across districts nationwide.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required or PA Teacher Certification meeting Act 86 requirements.
- PA Department of Education Form 6004: Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification - Act 24
- PA State Police Criminal History Clearance - Act 34
- Federal Criminal History Clearance - Act 114
- Mandated Child Abuse Reporter Training - Act 126
- Child Abuse Clearance - Act 151
- Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release - Act 168
Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful instruction to students in assigned classrooms while regular teacher is absent
- Review and implement regular teacher's routines, procedures, lesson plans, and curriculum objectives
- Establish and maintain a safe and orderly classroom environment
- Report any student injuries, illness, and serious discipline problems to school administration
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration
