Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within organizational policies and professional standards.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Georgia RN licensure, BCLS certification, and preferred hospital experience. Bachelor’s degree is a plus; PRN with one year hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing required.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients.
• Maintains standards of practice, coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
