Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking a Sports Instructor for our Sunnyvale, CA location. You will lead high quality soccer, basketball, volleyball, and other activities for children and adults, delivering inclusive, engaging lessons and ensuring safety and fun.

Role is as-needed, with classes scheduled in advance. Requires a high school diploma, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and 1+ year teaching experience. Competitive wage per class and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Adult & child CPR/AED and First Aid certification required.
• 1+ year sports teaching experience with children and/or adults.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ensure students/players adhere to safety guidelines and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality individual/group sports lessons to children and/or adults of varying abilities.
• Setup/breakdown of area before/after lessons.
• Assist in the promotion of sporting events and helping to answer member questions about classes, leagues, tournaments.
• Perform other duties as needed/assigned.
