Job summary

HealthFitness is seeking an energetic Sports Instructor for our Sunnyvale, CA site. This part-time, as-needed role leads engaging soccer, basketball, volleyball, and more for children and adults, creating a fun, inclusive environment and keeping participants motivated and connected through movement.

You will cover lesson setup/breakdown, promote events, and respond to member questions while maintaining high safety and sportsmanship standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
• One year of sports teaching experience with children or adults.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to enforce safety guidelines and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality individual/group sports lessons to varying abilities.
• Setup/breakdown of the lesson area.
• Promote sporting events and answer member questions about classes.
• Perform other duties as needed.
