IDEA Public Schools is hiring a Flex Special Education Teacher for the Tarrant County Region. The role is full-time, with a home-campus placement and a pathway to a permanent position as vacancies arise.

Starting salary is $63,500 with potential stipends and additional compensation. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree and Texas Special Education certification, plus experience in Special Education. Benefits and relocation options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field required.
• Texas state certification in Special Education required.
• Experience in a Special Education classroom strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adapt lessons to meet students' needs and IEP goals.
• Develop and implement IEPs for a caseload of students.
• Assess student progress and update IEPs accordingly.
• Collaborate with families and school staff to support student achievement.
• Participate in weekly manager check-ins, grade-level meetings, and after-school duties.
