Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students near Kansas City, KS. You will work with licensed SLPs to enhance student communication, with autonomy to build your weekly schedule across multiple campuses.

The role involves direct therapy, data collection, and collaboration with teachers and families. This contract runs through May 2027 with campus-based scheduling and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited SLPA program and active SLPA licensure
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with supervising SLPs, educators, and families
• Proficient at tracking student progress and collecting data
• Ability to set priorities, self-manage, and adapt to varying school site demands
• Efficient communication and organizational talents
• Transportation needed for travel between schools

Responsibilities

• Provide direct therapy to students under supervision of SLP
• Execute treatment plans, language interventions, and communication activities
• Accurately collect and maintain data on student outcomes
• Support SLPs with caseload management across assigned campuses (typically 1–3 per week)
• Flexibly adjust schedule and workload in collaboration with the SLP and school site needs
• Maintain detailed and confidential records in accordance with school protocols
• Participate in collaborative meetings with education staff and SLPs
