Job summary

Capstone in North Mankato is seeking a Temporary Warehouse Shipping Assistant to support daily operations at the Distribution Center. You will pick and pack customer orders, restock inventory, and assist with cycle counts to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires a dependable, detail‑oriented candidate who thrives in a fast‑paced, team environment and is comfortable with physical tasks. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., 15–40 hours per week as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Previous warehouse, shipping, or distribution experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent work schedule.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to established procedures.
• Inventory and Warehouse Support: Restock shelves and maintain organized inventory locations; assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Team Support and Safety: Work collaboratively with warehouse team members; follow established warehouse procedures and safety guidelines; maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
