Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a dependable team member to support our industrial laundry facility in Wichita, KS. You will handle merchandise safely and accurately, perform cleaning duties, and assist with loading and unloading as part of a shift-based team committed to quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include waste disposal, restroom and area cleaning, equipment upkeep, and maintaining a safe work environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required to meet market center demand.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.
• Shift-based schedule; may include weekends; overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Empties trash cans, cleans tunnel screens, and breaks down boxes.
• Cleans, sweeps, and mops restrooms and designated areas.
• Wipes down fans, walls, lights, and equipment; changes floor mats as needed.
• Cleans break area and loading area; moves empty barrels between docks.
• Maintains a safe, clean work environment and follows best practices.
• Works a schedule that is flexible to market center demand.
