Job summary

West Coast Convenience, the parent of Loop Neighborhood Market and Poppy Market, is seeking team members for our California stations. You’ll assist customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and keep the store clean across all shifts in a fast-paced environment.

We value People, Teamwork, and Safety, and offer full-time and part-time roles across first, second, and third shifts, with opportunities to grow within the company. Minimum 18+ for some shifts; background checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle cash accurately.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders if needed.
• Able to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register and balance the till.
• Stock shelves and keep the store clean and organized.
• Provide prompt, courteous customer service to shoppers.
• Assist with store and station operations and safety.
• Troubleshoot everyday issues and escalate when needed.
• Prepare shift reports as required by policy.
• Upsell store products to increase sales.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for customers.
