The role requires EMT certification or equivalent and a high school diploma, with reliable transportation and basic EMR skills. Shift: two 4-hour blocks on Monday and Thursday, 9am-1pm, with scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Confirm and verify patient identification and update lab system accordingly
• Collect specimens using nasopharyngeal, oropharyngeal, nasal, or throat swabs
• Explain collection procedures to patients and answer questions
• Store and prepare samples for transport
• Troubleshoot collection process issues and maintain safety protocols
• Travel to site locations within service area
• Set up and tear down testing sites at start and end of day
• Greet staff, patients, and visitors and maintain confidentiality
