Job summary

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical home care for seniors in their own homes. Flexible hours and all shifts are available, including days, evenings, overnights and weekends.

You will build meaningful one-on-one relationships, support daily living activities, and help clients stay independent at home. Requirements include at least 1 year of caregiving experience, a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and ability to pass background checks and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of senior care or caregiving experience required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must own or lease a reliable vehicle.
• Proof of current auto insurance required.
• Must be able to pass state and nationwide background checks.
• Must be able to complete fingerprinting and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide companion care and support with daily routines.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Help with mobility, walking, transfers, and physical assistance as needed.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Assist with grocery shopping and personal errands.
• Drive clients to and from appointments when needed.
• Help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home.
