Qualifications

• Must be available to work all schedules and shifts with short-notice for call-offs.
• Stand, walk, sit; communicate effectively with management and guests.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be needed in some postings.
• Where applicable: State Security Officer License; weapon certification; State Armed License; valid driver's license if in driving position.

Responsibilities

• Patrols buildings, grounds, docks and work sites; monitor for disturbances and safety hazards.
• Interviews guests and employees; detains suspects and reports to authorities as needed.
• Checks doors, windows, and gates; ensures security and safety equipment is functional.
• Responds to alarms; drives to client premises to locate sources of alarms and notify authorities.
• Writes investigation and vehicle usage reports; communicates irregularities to supervisors.
