Job summary

Lake Compounce is seeking a Scare Actor for Phantom Fall Fest. You will perform in a haunted maze, scare zone, or as a roaming actor, transforming into frightening characters through makeup and costumes. Auditions are required and character training will be provided.

You must be at least 16 and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ideal candidates are energetic, creative, comfortable performing in fast-paced environments, and able to maintain character while delivering memorable guest

Qualifications

• No formal education requirements; passion for scaring is a plus.
• Previous haunt experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully pass an audition and attend character training.

Responsibilities

• Entertain guests with frighteningly fun performances while in character.
• Maintain safety by keeping at least an arm’s length from guests.
• Use props, lights, and sound effects to enhance the scare experience.
• Stay in character throughout scheduled shifts and interact with guests in a scary yet respectful manner.
• Report safety hazards and follow park policies.
