Job summary

Smart Foodservice Stores is seeking a CHEF'STORE Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service across the front end and various departments, including Meat/Frozen, Produce/Dairy, and Dry Goods. You may also assist during events and inventory tasks.

The starting rate is $21.622/hr with flexible scheduling, 20-40 hours weekly, early mornings, and weekend availability. This role blends cashier duties, stocking, and customer courtesy in a dynamic retail setting.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused service experience preferred in retail environments.
• Ability to handle sales transactions accurately at the POS.
• Comfort with stocking, labeling, and shelf replenishment tasks.
• Willingness to work across departments and flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers have an impeccable CHEF'STORE experience by building relationships.
• Perform sales and cash functions accurately using the POS system.
• Assist in stocking, labeling, and rotating products; apply FIFO where required.
• Support front-end operations including opening/closing duties and courtesy service.
• Participate in inventory processes and assist during special events.
