Mercy Hospital is seeking respiratory therapists for flexible RRT/CRT gigs in Missouri. The role involves direct patient care across respiratory services, with physician consultation and acting as a resource for the care team.

Gigs offer day/night flexibility, 4-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts, and a W-2 employment arrangement, with incentive-based shift pay and no weekend or holiday requirements.

Formación

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license and state licensure requirements.
• Certifications: NBRC RRT or CRT credential; PALS in ER; ACLS is required.
• Experience: At least one year of experience, excluding orientation.
• Other: Physical demands include pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
