Job summary

US Oncology Inc. at City of Hope locations is seeking PRN Radiation Therapists, including new grads, to join a flexible schedule and gain hands-on experience with advanced cancer-care technology.

Gain practical experience under supervision, while contributing to patient care and learning in a supportive team. ARRT certification and state licensure are required; Halcyon and IX Linac experience are preferred, with career progression from RTT I to Senior RTT based on credentials.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
• ARRT certification required. Must hold valid state license for radiation therapy.
• Halcyon and IX Linac experience preferred.
• Radiation Therapist I: 0-3 years experience; RTT II: 3-5 years; Senior RTT: 5+ years.

Responsibilities

• Accurately delivers and records radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist and chief radiation therapist.
• Enter and maintain patient treatment parameters into the EMR.
• Participate in clinical instruction of newly hired therapists and students.
• Maintain patient appointment schedule and submit correct billing information.
• Cut blocks and make custom molds as needed.
• Complete simple mu calculations and interpret treatment plans.
