Job summary

UNFI operates Cub Rochester East on 15th Ave and is seeking a dedicated part-time produce team member. The role focuses on stocking shelves, keeping displays organized, and ensuring product freshness through proper rotation.

You will interact with customers, assist with questions, and maintain a clean and inviting store environment. Ideal candidates are reliable, able to stand for long periods, and comfortable with physical tasks and shift variations including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Equipment operation (fork lift, pallet jack, carts, box cutter, baler, etc.).
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
