Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. in Loudoun County, VA is hiring Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide in-home support, aiding with daily living activities, mobility, and companionship. You set your schedule to balance life and work, with caregiver-to-client ratios at 1:1.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, active Virginia PCA registration, CPR/First Aid, and at least six months of healthcare experience; valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and active Virginia PCA registration.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• First Aid / CPR or BLS certification required.
• Valid Virginia driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship.
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises.
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition and notify a supervisor of any concerns.
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways.
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies.
