Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads. This role involves providing nursing care within the LPN scope of practice, administering medications, and documenting patient information.

We offer per diem shifts with competitive pay of $37-$39 per hour, same-day or next-day pay, and the possibility of full-time hours. Local applicants only; BLS/ CPR and active LPN license required.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR.
• PPD within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position. No weight restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
