Job summary

Five Star Nursing is seeking compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide follow-through of physician plans in skilled nursing facilities, under RN supervision. You will advocate for patients and educate families while earning an hourly rate of $45.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in New York.
• CPR certification (BLS or ALS accepted).
• Meets state and federal employment requirements for nursing facilities.
• Strong patient assessment skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
• Demonstrated clinical competency.

Responsibilities

• Instruct patients and families in proper treatment.
• Assist patients in steps to maintain or improve health.
• Assess and document symptoms and progress.
• Administer medications as prescribed by physician.
• Assist in rehabilitation per treatment plan.
