Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Jackson, MN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care in a long-term care setting. The role works under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician, delivering medications and treatments per care plans.

The ideal candidate will have graduated from an accredited practical nursing program and hold an active LPN license; an associate degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program and be licensed as an LPN.
• Attainment of an associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
• Current unencumbered LPN license and required state competencies and CEUs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care for LTC residents under supervision of RN/physician.
• Administer medications or treatments as ordered and assess resident status.
• Document resident interactions and maintain confidentiality; communicate with the care team and families.
