IFS is hiring a General Cleaner in Minnesota to join a fast-paced janitorial team. Full-time role with 30+ hours weekly, flexible shifts, and union-represented benefits.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms, restrooms, offices, and common areas, managing trash and recycling, and maintaining logs daily. Requirements include the ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand for long periods, climb ladders, and read safety rules in English.

Qualifications

• Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds.
• Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching as part of duties.
• Stand and walk for long periods (10–12 hours) in a facility.
• Climb ladders or gangways safely when required.
• Read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals (English).

Responsibilities

• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
• Sweep, mop, and remove debris; manage spills across the site.
• Empty trash and manage recycling in all areas.
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, and surfaces; polish stainless steel.
• Maintain restroom cleanliness and complete shift logs daily.
