Job summary

hce-careers is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide hands-on daily living support in Charlotte. This part-time role offers flexible shift options to fit your life and focuses on compassionate, respectful care in clients' homes.

You’ll assist with personal care, nutrition, light housekeeping, and companionship, while ensuring safety and dignity for clients and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a PCA, caregiver, HHA, or CNA is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Friendly, clear communicator who respects client dignity and confidentiality.
• Dependable & detail-oriented— notice & report small changes that make a big difference.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care – Provide respectful assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Nutritious Meal Prep – Cook simple, balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Safe & Tidy Home – Handle light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks.
• Meaningful Companionship – Offer conversation, games, and escort to outings to keep spirits high.
• Errands & Transportation – Drive clients to appointments, groceries, and places.
