Job summary

BrightStar Care of Denton, TX is hiring part-time Caregivers in the Little Elm area. We provide uplifting in-home care for seniors, offering flexible shifts, competitive pay, and opportunities for advancement. Weekly pay and a supportive work environment are included.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of caregiving experience, a valid CPR certificate, and a valid driver’s license with auto insurance. We seek dependable individuals who value patient confidentiality and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required
• Minimum 6 months experience as a caregiver
• Valid CPR certificate
• Physical and negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
• Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance with reliable vehicle
• Adhere to HIPAA and maintain client confidentiality
• Negative drug screen and motor vehicle background screening
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers
• Accompany clients to grocery store, doctor appointments, and pharmacy visits
• Assist with mobility per the plan of care and report changes to the Director of Nursing
