As a Companion Aide, you will assist with personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and mobility, following each client’s care plan with compassion and reliability. Training for dementia/Alzheimer’s care is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is provided if needed
• Reliable transportation to client homes is required
• Able to manage time effectively and juggle multiple duties

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Support clients with light exercise or walks
• Plan and prepare meals with clients
• Handle light housekeeping duties
• Report health changes or incidents
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Respond quickly in emergencies
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips
• Assist with medication reminders
• Support mobility and transportation to appointments
