Job summary

WACO TX ARBOR HOUSE LP is seeking a compassionate Caregiver to provide essential support across all shifts in our senior care settings. You will assist with ADLs, monitor health, administer meds per schedule, and offer companionship to residents.

Ideal candidates have experience in senior care, dementia care, strong communication, and the ability to work independently or with a team. CPR/First Aid is desirable; flexible scheduling includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in senior care, assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care environments.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia care, and behavioral management techniques.
• CPR/First Aid certification is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills for working with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility)
• Monitor and record vital signs (BP, pulse, temp)
• Administer medications per prescribed schedules
• Provide companionship and social engagement to residents
• Support residents with dementia/memory care strategies
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and maintain kitchen cleanliness
• Document care activities in EMR and coordinate with healthcare teams
• Assist residents with transportation to appointments or outings
