Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment; qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in line with applicable laws.
• Be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate effectively with the public.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for unusual conditions that may pose security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in emergencies.
• Warn violators of infractions and manage access/exit points.
• Investigate incidents and maintain post logs as required.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per Post Orders.
