Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries. You will use our shift-pickup platform to view and claim open shifts based on your availability, gaining site experience across Healthcare, Education, Finance and more.

The role offers $22.00 per hour with weekly pay, and opportunities for hands-on experience, growth, and a flexible schedule that can adapt to your needs. Some shifts may be irregular with short notice.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver's license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• No prior security experience required; must be at least 18 (21 for armed).

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular conditions that may create security concerns or hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary.
