Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve multiple client sites across Healthcare, Education, Finance, and more. You will use a shift-pickup platform to claim openings that fit your availability, gaining diverse site experience and growth opportunities.

Role involves irregular hours and unpredictable schedules, with emphasis on protecting people and property while maintaining professional, courteous customer interactions across assignments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 if armed, where required).
• Ability to operate radio/console equipment and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect company property and ensure proper removal per client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
