Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Professional Flex Officer in Florida to patrol designated areas, respond to incidents, and support client sites across multiple industries. The role leverages a shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits availability and site experience.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of security or related experience, with background checks and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• 1+ years armed security/law enforcement/military experience.
• Background check and drug screen may be required by law.
• Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer-owned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Investigate incidents and prepare reports; maintain logs as required by post.
