Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Professional Flex Officer to serve and safeguard clients across healthcare, education, finance, and more. You will use our shift-pickup platform to build a schedule that fits your availability and gain hands-on site experience.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent (or 5 years verifiable experience); valid driver’s license; ability to pass background check and drug screen; 18+ (21 for armed). No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• Valid driver’s license if operating a company/customer vehicle.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.
• Must be at least 18 (21 if armed).
• Reliability and adaptability to different posts.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or by vehicle.
• Monitor for unusual conditions and safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or summon police/fire department as needed.
• Control access and monitor entrances/exits.
• Prepare written reports on incidents and maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, visitors courteously.
• Provide emergency notifications as required by site orders.
