Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Patrol Observation to provide reliable, flexible coverage at a technology-focused site. You will work fixed shifts and have opportunities to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, with a pay rate of $16.73 per hour and part-time hours up to 40 per week.

Ideal candidates are 18+, with a high school diploma, background check, and drug screening; licensing may be required.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and direct guests as needed.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities for site leadership.
