Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Flex Driver Hospital Patrol in Maitland, FL. The role offers 30–40 hours per week with shifts assigned by the manager and self-scheduling options.

You will patrol sites, respond to incidents, and assist clients across multiple industries. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, availability for irregular shifts, vaccination per hospital policy, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal policy.
• Must be available to work varying shifts including holidays, nights, weekends.
• Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be willing to travel required distances.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police/fire department in case of fire or unauthorized presence.
• Warn violators of rule infractions (loitering, smoking, etc.).
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain logs.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors courteously and professionally.
• Make emergency notifications as needed per site Post Orders.
