Job summary

Security Management Innovation is seeking a reliable Security Officer (Floater) to support multiple client sites in Broward and West Palm Beach, FL. The Floater will fill gaps due to call-outs, vacations, and high-need shifts with a flexible schedule including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends.

Qualified candidates hold an Active Florida D License, reliable transportation, and are able to pass background checks. The role offers $18 per hour with opportunity for additional hours and growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at various client locations as assigned.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
• Conduct routine patrols (foot and/or vehicle).
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce client policies and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.
