Job summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated school psychologist for the Opelousas area (LA) to support PreK–12 students. The position offers flexible full- or part-time hours and focuses on evaluations, IEP collaboration, and behavioral supports within a welcoming educational community.

You will conduct assessments, help develop IEPs, provide crisis counseling, and contribute to MTSS/RTI initiatives while coordinating with teachers and families to promote positive student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Experience supporting students from PreK–12th grade.
• Strong understanding of school-based assessments, special education services, and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with students, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments to support special education eligibility and services.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs.
• Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and consultative services as needed.
• Assist with behavioral interventions and positive supports.
• Work with students to enhance social, emotional, and academic success.
• Contribute to RTI and MTSS initiatives.
