Job summary

KIPP Tulsa Public Charter Schools is seeking a School Operations Support Specialist to help operate safely across transportation, classrooms, and events. This role supports student transportation, substitutes, and school operations to keep schools running smoothly.

The ideal candidate demonstrates reliability, flexibility, strong safety focus, and the ability to adapt to daily changes while building positive relationships with students, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Valid CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.
• Ability to meet all background checks and bus driver requirements.
• Ability to work effectively with students across multiple grade levels.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a school bus or other KIPP Tulsa vehicle.
• Provide transportation for students in concurrent enrollment and field trips.
• Serve as a substitute teacher when classroom coverage is needed.
• Support arrival and dismissal, events, athletics, and logistics across campuses.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, student-centered environment while transporting students.
• Assist with inventory, facilities projects, and front-office coverage as needed.
