• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food service is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and serving of meals according to established menus.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout food preparation and service.
• Set up and clean dining areas, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Support daily tasks including inventory management and restocking supplies.
• Monitor food quality and presentation, ensuring meals are nutritious.
• Respond to inquiries regarding meal options and dietary restrictions.
• Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
• Assist with other duties as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor.
