First Student, Inc. is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Kansas City, MO. You will start students’ days with morning pickups and transport them home in the afternoon, with opportunities for field trips and events.

No experience is required as comprehensive training is provided to ensure safety and professionalism. Benefits include insurance options, a 401(k) with company match, and a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• No experience required; expert training and guidance provided.
• Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.
• Part-time schedule with AM/PM routes; no nights, weekends, or summers required.
• Must be at least 21 years old; able to pass DOT drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and activities.
• Supervise boarding and unloading; assist with seatbelts and mobility aids.
• Maintain order on the bus and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
• Report mechanical issues promptly and keep the bus clean and sanitary.
• Communicate with parents, school staff, and dispatch about delays or behavior.
