Job summary

Kroger in Kingman, AZ is seeking a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger to provide fast, friendly service at the store. You will bag groceries, assist customers with loading bags, and help keep shelves and aisles organized and clean.

The role involves working in a busy environment, adhering to safety rules, and offering help with daily tasks to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers.
• Strive to bag at least five items without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging with different bag types.
• Assist in removing merchandise from bottom of bascart for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their car.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather bascarts.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside store and parking lot.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions.
• Follow food safety regulations and maintenance procedures.
• Provide welcoming service by answering product questions within the store.
