Job summary

Sedgwick is hiring a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze complex claims for multiple jurisdictions including MA, CT, RI, NH, PA, NJ. The role requires 3+ years of claims management experience, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with clients and carriers.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• 3+ years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to timely resolution by investigating and gathering information to determine exposure.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity to the claimant and client.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions in a professional and timely manner.
