Job summary

Archdiocese of St. Louis is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide a safe, supportive learning environment when the regular teacher is absent, following lesson plans and maintaining continuity of instruction in a Catholic school.

You will model faith-based values, manage behavior, take attendance, assist students with assignments, and report concerns to the regular teacher and school administration. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and classroom routines provided by the regular teacher.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and respectful classroom environment.
• Take attendance and complete classroom records.
