Job summary

Frontline Personnel is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team at 125 Rockefeller Rd, Delmar, NY. The role offers flexibility and meaningful patient care in a long-term care setting.

Responsibilities include providing evaluation and treatment of communication disorders, consulting on habilitation/rehabilitation, and addressing a wide range of speech, language, and swallowing needs for elderly patients in a skilled nursing facility.

Qualifications

• Current Speech Language Pathologist license by the State is REQUIRED.
• Skilled Nursing Facility experience is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, identification, evaluation, and treatment of communication disorders.
• Consultation, habilitation, rehabilitation, instruction, and research related to communication and swallowing functions.
• Address development and disorders of human communication and related oral and pharyngeal competencies.
• Manage and treat conditions affecting speech, phonology, articulation, fluency, voice, verbal and written language, and cognitive communication.
